How To Make Time

So “everything” might be a misnomer, there are limits, but there is a way to manage time in order to make the most of your day, and that is through setting routines. Having set tasks or goals that you want to achieve through your day, will increase the likelihood of you getting it done. For some, having a to-do list is sufficient enough, while others might need more structure and find that creating time blocks with set tasks on them, helps them manage their time better. There is a bit of trial and error in finding the schedule that fits your needs, but the benefits are worth the effort.

Having a set schedule, gives you a sense of control, making your busy day seem more manageable; it keeps you from procrastinating, improves focus and productivity, and also reduces stress levels. The central goal is to create patterns in your day to day life. If you are always hungry at 12 pm, then make some time everyday at 12 pm to have lunch. If you are always tired at 9:30 pm, then plan to be in bed by 9:30 pm everyday.

Repetition creates habits.

Having a set schedule will help you implement and maintain healthy habits, such as exercising, eating healthy, and having personal time.

As we all know though, things don’t always go to plan, because life happens, but don’t let that deter you. Remember to be easy on yourself if maybe a task takes longer than expected, and you don’t get around to doing something else like you wanted. The schedule is more of a guide to establish a routine, so if today goes sideways, let it and get back to it tomorrow.
