Your mental health is a 24/7 job

Not an every once in a while job.

I am CONSTANTLY being aware of my feelings and emotions and doing what’s best for my highest self.

It took me some time after therapy and incorporating self care practices, but I feel at peace with who I am.

I’ve had to forgive myself and give myself grace for the things I’ve gone through or done (when I wasn’t self aware)

My mental health is my TOP priority.

Without this you have chaos, drama, anxiety, worry, and stress - like I used to have.

Coming from a family where this was never a topic of conversation, sometimes you have to break out on your own and change the cycle.

I’ve witnessed the damage it’s done when you don’t work on your mental health..

These are the practices I do DAILY whether I’m at home or in the car… it’s constant work:
- affirmations out loud
- nourishing my body with clean ingredients / products
- nourishing my mind with uplifting info / not trashy music or drama
- reading + learning
- setting boundaries around my time and energy which is so valuable to me
- journaling
- getting outside or in nature in some way
- moving my body in some way everyday
