What i’ve learned in 31 years

What 3️⃣1️⃣ years has taught me👇🏼

I’ve learned more in the last 3 years than I did the other 28 years combined.

Here are my most important lessons I’ve learned thus far and I’m STILL figuring myself out:

1. Your parents did the best they could with the knowledge they had/where they were at emotionally
2. My needs were physically met but not emotionally met as a child which hindered me more than I thought
3. People pleasing will get you NO WHERE
4. Procrastination is really just perfectionism in disguise
5. Comparing yourself to others is a waste of time
6. Resist the need to react out of emotion, this is a dangerous habit
7. You are NOT what happened to you
8. FORGIVE anything and everyone and move on
9. Make a conscious effort to LOVE yourself even when it’s hard AF
10. You have to do the inner work - HAVE TO and there is NO end to this

I feel like the last 3-4 years of my life have been on hold so I can pause, reflect, heal my past, and catch my mindset up to my current reality to believe and feel worthy of the goals I have for myself.

Reprogramming negative thoughts
Feeling worthy of what you want
And telling yourself you ALREADY have what you want

Is HARD WORK when you grew without anyone telling you you were worthy, you are capable, and you can have whatever you want in the world.

32 is starting off with CONSTANT work on my mindset. Being prepared and equipped for the BIG things coming my way 🥳

Here’s to another year coming back STRONGER 💪🏼
